The Slovak Folk Art Collective (SĽUK) is celebrating the 75th anniversary of its founding with a magnificent gala program. The ensemble is touring all over Slovakia with this rich performance, and it will be presented to the Trnava audience on June 15th at the Municipal Amphitheater. This exceptional concert will offer a window into the history of its artistic creation and will also close this year's Trnavská brána festival.
75 Years and Thousands of Steps
SĽUK has been captivating audiences with its powerful voices and traditional artistry since 1949, and not just within our country. Throughout its rich history, the ensemble has travelled to more than 60 countries and has left millions of spectators breathless. This showcase of Slovak folk culture has shone brightly for three-quarters of a century, and its anniversary celebration is just as dazzling. The unique gala program presents both the traditional and contemporary artistic work of the ensemble.
